An artist working in wood and inspired by the tranquility of Nara, Japan, has returned there to open her studio and store.
PRESENTATION 1
Design of a multi purpose building to house a studio space and a retail space, bringing together the traditions of classical Japanese architecture with practicality. The brief required that it be harmonious with the surrounding forest of Nara.
PRESENTATION 2
The retail store needed suitable packaging, carrying identity design also reflective of the Japanese influence.
