PRESENTATION 1
Environmental Design - Architecture
An architecturally designed building that acts to provide a coping mechanism for stress that students may experience, ultimately intending to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The building needed to feel inviting for students to visit on their own accord. The design of the building needed to create a contemporary and modern aesthetic whilst taking into consideration the site that it exists on. The building was required to have two rooms for students to meet with counsellors.
PRESENTATION 2
Environmental Design - Interior Design
The interior of the building was required to create a relaxing and calming experience for the students. There needed to be a range of seating options to accommodate however students choose to relax. There was a great emphasis on the importance of the connection with nature established through the interior design to act as a way to relieve stress.
