Presentation 1 Retail Interior Design
Presentation 2 Identity, Business Card and Packaging Design
Delphine Beaulieu a pastry chef, is rebranding her grandmothers patisserie on the existing property to combine the traditional beauty of the town and her passion for rococo inspired design rather than be out-dated and behind the times.
PRESENTATION ONE
Environmental design: Retail interior design
Attracting the attention of students, in particular those who appreciate local businesses and value thoughtfully produced pastries, the interior provides comfort and warmth in the space for the customers to sit and enjoy the view, whilst also having a quiet space to possibly study for the neighbouring university. The space provides 16 seated customers, with 4 tables and a running booth on the back wall.
PRESENTATION TWO
Communication design: Identity, Business Card and Packaging Design,
The logo itself is elegant, and reflects the interior design of the patisserie, which is used consistently throughout the store's packaging and advertising. The comparing business card showcases the beauty and traditional aesthetic of the patisserie, maintaining key features and colour pallet from the interior. The ‘take-away’ packaging reflects the elegance of the pastries whilst also being sturdy to hold the pastries.
