Presentation 2 Menu Design
CLIENT: Claude Alix Beaumont (independent business owner)
First time restaurant owner, newly opened business, Coastal Victoria
The uniqueness of this Coastal restaurant is the balanced connection between the traditional and the modern in terms of identity and building design.
PRESENTATION 1
Environmental Design - Building Design
Open and inviting building design for patrons travelling along the Coast. Primarily serving lunch and dinners, an open yet also comforting space was required to seat 40 people. A large, generous window display was also required to effectively showcase the lush surrounding landscape as well as the ocean views. The design of this restaurant is to offer a taste of Provinceal French architecture within a more Modern building design.
PRESENTATION 2
Communication design - Identity Design and Menu
A traditional approach to the menu design was required by the client. As a result a ‘book style’ design for the menu was undertaken. Therefore attributing to the traditional, more down to earth style whilst maintaining an air of sophistication and elegance for the restaurant identity.
