Environmental Design - Revamp’s ‘Aura’ Community Centre
The company ‘Revamp’ required a central hub for their community activities and to expand their horizons beyond their origin in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. They were leased a plot of land in the recently decommissioned Altona Mobile Refinery which sits on the Altona Coastal park and marine wetlands. The design of an organic, open and natural space, working around the existing refinery structures to emphasise the idea of regeneration and transformation was required. Open, flexible spaces for community activity as well as space for independent reflection and immersion in nature were core focuses.

Communication/Industrial Design - Promotional Installation
To promote visitation to their new community centre, Revamp required the design of a thought-provoking promotional installation device. The device is to be placed in numerous locations throughout Melbourne to replicate the immersive experience offered at the site. Each device is to have a unique surface graphic design that creates a sense of adventure and curiosity, standing out in the transient city environment. Thus, early brand identity studies were undertaken alongside the form and function of the installation.
