CELLAR

When left alone in his house a boy is unsettled by small occurrences that leave him feeling tormented by something in the cellar.

Intention

My production explores suspense shown in a psychological horror-like aesthetic. I haven't made the production obviously scary but rather wish to leave the viewer with a strange feeling and encourage curiosity about if the ‘monster’ is psychological or real.

As it is a silent film I invite the audience to question whether the boy is ill or truly in physical danger whilst enjoying the surreal visuals that accompany a horror-like aesthetic.
