This final piece unmasks the cold reality of 2021; an empty life or what felt like it. It captures the challenges of what this year threw at not only myself but every single person. Whether they are attending school or university, or simply unable to get out of bed, it shows the strength it takes to just complete the simplest of daily tasks, this image shows the unpredictable times week to week and how everything can change in an instant. I gained inspiration from the 2nd of August this year, as I woke up on a normal day and headed to school with not one thought of a lockdown in mind, and by 2pm that day I was filling my bag up with all my books to take home. Who would've thought that I have never been back since. I wanted to express through this final artwork how tough this year has been physically mentally and emotionally.
