PRESENTATION ONE

Environmental Design - Multipurpose Pavilion

Multipurpose pavilion to serve as space for markets and entertainment events, with the requirement outlined by the client of a low environmental impact design. As the pavilion is new to the area, it must have a distinctive and memorable appearance in order to attract a variety of locals and visitors, while generating a sense of community and interconnectedness with the landscape. As Barwon Heads is a coastal town, with altering weather conditions, considerations were made in regards to an appropriate level of shelter.

PRESENTATION TWO

Communication Design - Poster & Flyer

The creation of an event identity, through a flyer to be distributed by direct mail to the residents of Barwon Heads and a poster design to be displayed around the Greater Geelong community and Bellarine Peninsula.

Each design format must inform the audience while also fostering a sense of curiosity within them. The designs should communicate the idea of an organic creativity that references the natural surroundings of the location.
