We're going to continue working with the file from last class.
At this point, you should have a schedule of the courses you think you might take throughout high school, and from 7th-12th grade you should earn the graduation requirements for your Texas high school diploma.
What if we change our schedule later?
No problem, this is just an exercise, you're not actually choosing your schedule with me.
Choosing your actual classes for high school is just between you, your parents, and your counselor. Hopefully, talking about it now will help you feel more prepared, including maybe giving you time to look up what you're interested in, before you actually have to finalize your choices.
In this video, we'll talk about creating a new table that we'll use to create a color key to associate each subject/requirement with a specific color.
Now that we've setup our key, let's modify our potential schedule to color the individual cells to match our key.
Let's see how to change the individual cell colors.
Lastly, some of our color choices may make it hard to read our text.
Let's quickly see how we can adjust our font color to improve legibility.
Add a screenshot of the progress you made to your slide for today.
Before you leave today, can you correctly guess today's Hexle? https://www.thehexle.io/
Add a screenshot of how you did on today's Hexle.
