First, let's briefly learn about pixels.
You probably already knew what pixels were, at least to some extent. Do you know how we create different colors of pixels? That's less likely.
Let's talk about that some... then I want you to try it.
I'll show you how to simulate mixing yellow, but I'll want you to try mixing Cyan instead.
Instead of Yellow, make Cyan. Add a screenshot to your slide for today, showing how you mixed Cyan.
Let's learn a bit more about how color mixing and the RGB color model works.
Next, I want you to try to simulate making purple and orange. I'll provide a little guidance here. Keep in mind, it's RGB, so you only get to use red, green, and blue. You can change how bright the red, green, and blue are, but you only get those three colors to mix to create the rest.
Add a screenshot to your slide for today, showing how you mixed RGB to make Purple, and again to make Orange.
Lastly, let's try making a little pixel art. You'll also need this for next week.
Add a screenshot to your slide for today, showing your finished pixel art.
Your slide for today should have screenshots for:
- simulating color mixing for Cyan,
- for Purple, and
- for Orange
- Pixel Art created in Google Sheets of 16 x 16 or higher
