Yesterday, you saw a video that went over the 3 core languages of the web; HTML, CSS, and JS. The video yesterday referred to them as the "3 Amigos" It compared HTML to the builder, as it defines the main structure and content of a webpage. CSS was compared to an artist, as CSS is used to make a page aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, JS was compared to a wizard, because it allows creating interaction between the user and the page.
Yesterday, we started building a small website about these; but we only made the index page. Today, we'll contine working on this- making a page for each of the "3 Amigos" mentioned yesterday.
In the videos, I regualrly refer to files and folders on the left side of our VS Code application. Watch here to see how we can open our folder's contents into the left side panel.
Reopen your work from yesterday.
We're going to use the file from yesterday as a starting point; we'll make a copy of it to work from for the page for our builder.
Similar to the previous step, we'll make another copy and use it as a template for the Artist's page. Instead of copying the index.html file though, we'll copy the builder page since it's already pretty close to how we want the other two pages to look. We'll do this again for the Wizard's page too.
Screenshot your finished Wizard's page for today.
