New week, new slides.
Make a copy of these slides:
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1ciwYLVux_5xvoeGVrl976oaKgFbCFlDdPDjFDk3CvH8/edit?usp=sharing
This should go in your 4th Quarter sub-folder of your Fund. of CS shared folder.
I'll update grades before our next class. The further from last week you get, the harder it'll be to accurately remember it. If you didn't finish and submit your slides from last week's work days, I'd recommend doing so before moving on. Keep in mind, on the work days, you should have some videos and/or screenshots to show me what you worked on, as well as a short description of the progress you made.
You've already started working some on your project, but we never compiled a document of our different planning steps. We have most of what we need now for our project's planning doc, we just need to put it together and add a little extra text here or there. So let's do that.
Create a new document in your Google Shared Folder,
save it as "Interactive Fiction Planning", or something similar.
At the top of the document, add a heading, it should say something like "IF Planning Doc"
Write a couple sentences about the project itself. Something like...
I am creating a branching story about capybaras and their quest through time to find the perfect quesadilla. The finished project will load in a web browser, and created using HTML, JavaScript, and P5.js.
This description doesn't exactly match your project, write about your own.
This is just an example to help you know what I'm looking for.
Provide a sentence or two about how you planned your story, including coming up with ideas and planning out your idea.
Include an image of the Project Idea work you created from 3/28, and a picture of your planning work from 4/2.
Provide a few sentences about how you are making your project, and why you chose this method/tool over other options.
Include an image from your Exploring Interactive Fiction Tools work from 3/25.
Task, Part 2:
Add the link to your planning doc on your slide for today.
