Yesterday, we looked at a few examples of Interactive Fiction. Today's focus will be on tools used to create these works.
Part 1 of Today's Work
Choose and/or find 3 tools useful for Interactive Fiction that you'd be interested in learning more about. You can also use Google to find other tools, you are not limited to what is in the video.
Tell me why you chose these specific ones.
Mighty Coconut is an entertainment studio based in Austin, Tx. creating AR/VR experiences.
57° North is a work of Interactive Fiction they've created. I've provided the trailer for it here, you can also see Mighty Coconut's product page here.
On their YouTube channel, the writer/director of the title talked a bit about the work and one of the tools they used to create it, Twine, which was also briefly discussed in the previous video.
Download the plain HTML version of 57° North here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T1BmuaON6H3gWnBE-ugMYin3STqzu9SA/view?usp=sharing
I created a little video to help you know how to import it an navigate the site.
Part 2 of Today's Work
Check out 57° North and the file in Twinery. What are your thoughts on this specific tool?
