Using your notes from yesterday's class (come get them from me),
create a document (with Pages) that provides a procedure for someone to save Phred.
We've worked in Pages quite a bit already.
At this point, you should feel pretty comfortable with the software and the tools.
Use the tools you've learned about to make the document look nice
and to try to communicate how to save Phred clearly and accurately.
In this document, include:
at least one Title/Header
text, with emphasis where needed (use stylings such as bold / italics / underline)
use more than one font
make the document look visually appealing through use of shapes and/or images
The instructions I gave y'all yesterday had 3 different fonts, 4 different font sizes, included italics, and an image. The image included text overlaid on top. I also included some intentional spacing to try to help keep the different chunks of information organized. You are welcome to look at the document from yesterday again if you need/want.
NOTE:
Part of Texas' requirements for this course are understanding and being able to create and design documents with software applications. So even though you worked together yesterday on the activity, each person needs to create their own document today.
Tomorrow, we will find that Phred has once again capsized a boat and needs saving.
Export a PDF of your file and upload it to the Canvas task.
These will be printed this afternoon for us to use tomorrow to save Phred again.
I'll be updating grades this afternoon,
including adding new ones from last week.
If you finish early and have anything to fix,
or didn't finish something from last week,
perhaps use your extra time for it.
I have been reorganizing some things on the site,
if you run across a broken link, let me know and I'll help you.
