Starting our Semester Project
Previously, you researched, planned, and built a paper boat. You had a goal (or problem), and then you tested your design, and hopefully had enough time to analyze your design and build a new iteration.
Your process was probably something similar to this.
Can you think of other times when you've used a method similar to this to solve a problem?
Choose a partner for the next part.
With your partner, think back to the games we played a while back:
tic-tac-toe,
hangman, and
guess a number
Choose one of the games.
With your partner, discuss how to develop the best strategy for your chosen game. Test it if you have time. Create a markdown file for today, and in it, summarize your proposed strategy and how it went.
With your partner, discuss the best strategy to complete a word search. The goal is to complete the word search before any other groups. Add a new section in your markdown file for today, and then summarize your strategy in your markdown file.
If you'd like to try your strategy, I have one you can practice with.
Tomorrow, we'll do a word search, and you'll work together to try your strategy.
