3D printing isn't new. We think of it as new, but it isn't really. The video below talks about all these possibilities that sound futuristic, but the video is from early 2013. Things take time, these are still all possibilities, but we often under estimate how long things take to really be implemented into our society and culture.
Last class, you should have utilized your class time to get acquainted, or reacquainted with TinkerCadx. Today, you'll use the tool to create a house or a building.
First option for today is to create a house, using the video tutorial below, then customize it. Your house should not look just like the example, and it should not look the same as those around you. A house that isn't customized doesn't count as completing the task.
Follow along to create a house in Tinkercad. Once finished, spend a few minutes customizing it.
Second option for today:
Follow along to create a building in Tinkercad. Once finished, spend a few minutes customizing it.
Just like in the first option, a building that isn't customized doesn't count as completing the task.
