“A creepy forest, a deceased merchant, a spooky cave, then a long river.”
- The players met with like a hundred NPCs to decide who would go on this quest, then Marvin, Jinx, and Opus left early in the morning, not on a full moon.
- The players decided to save time by travelling through these wood, they felt something was watching them, this was later revealed to be the trees themselves.
- They met a little girl in the woods, while everyone was initially freaked out by her, they eventually almost started to trust her, and then she betrayed them.
- She turned out to be a greedy friend and tried to kill them, after a hard fight with jinx almost insta-dying, chain lighting devastating the group, and then darkness making it hard to see, the party felled this creature.
- Then they ran into this merchant, he was an honest man selling hunting equipment and imported bananas. Then after a brief exchange with some purchases, Richard killed him in cold blood.
- This cold blooded killing was shocking to everyone, like, it was wild.
- After that unsettling kill, the party decided that he must repent, and after some splendid missionary work by Jinx, Richard agreed to join his religion.
- The group decided to press on with Richard still tied up.
- They reached a fork in the road and decided the best way to press on was by going under the mountain, there was a spooky cave, where they came face to face with this massive unidentified 10 eyed beast.
- They decided the best course of action was to turn tail and flee, and so they did, after an exciting chase scene, they were out of the cave. They decided to take the next shortest path, which was along this river where they saw these bandits.
- Worn out, they decided the best way forward was to sneak past. And after being ridiculously sneaky, not only did they get past completely undetected, they also got through with the prisoner. Which happened to be the brother of the deceased merchant.
- Then they arrived in town.
- Also several days passed over this that I didn’t really write about. But it’s now 2 nights after the full moon.
