A Wild Wedding
Tellig Tulach’s wedding to Joanna Orlas occurred in Tulach’s Getaway Village and was a splendid festivity. Two guests of this wedding, Donaleustopher Aristopholestipheles XVII and Spook Spectre, found a green lizard which they named Zarkhin (yes, like the country) as a wedding present for him. After the very pleasant wedding, a large number of the wedding guests were talking about an after-party in a sward in the woods. This seemed suspicious. As people were jovially being taken away to the after-party, a grizzly bear charged out of the woods and was heading straight towards Father Topaz. Spook held out his hand and the bear stopped in front of him. This bear, Dalton Grandmoth’s reincarnation, telepathically warned Spook before going on to save the bride. Tulach was filled in but it was too late. The Wilderman had come and it was revealed that a great number of the party guests were dustwalkers. Dalton Grandmoth (bear) died to two slashes by a dustwalker with foot-long talons and white eyes. After failing to traverse through the Winds of Cornellius, the Wilderman and everyone who he had abducted, including Joanna, had completely disappeared. Dalton Grandmoth’s head was put back on and he said a few last words, spreading knowledge to the survivors about the Fountain of Fossils in Korchung, Orchian.
A Wild Wandering
A journey began toward the Fountain of Fossils. At first on foot and then on horseback, the three who were not taken venture on. Upon reaching the border of Orchian, they are confronted by a Lurisian guard at the gate. The elf makes sure that they are not spies or soldiers of Pluvia as there is some tension between the two countries. Donaleustopher Aristopholestipheles XVII got 5 boxes of 20 flaky honey pastries, one of which he and Zarkhin ate on their travel through Orchian. Upon reaching Korchung, many seemingly hostile orcs were there to greet them. Through some haphazard diplomacy and a successful fist-fight, Donaleustopher Aristopholestipheles XVII had seemed to win over the orc’s trust. After doing so, an orc saw Spook and drew attention to him. Through speaking goblin, Spook found out that the orcs think that he is a god, a beast-god; perhaps even the Wilderman himself. They were taken to the Fountain of Fossils and left to be.
A Wild Awakening
Minds boggled by newfound knowledge about the universe and Tulach’s greatest enemy, they leave the fountain. A loud farewell celebration put on by the orcs occurs as they leave, which draws unwanted attention. Heading through the Lurisian zones of Orchian, black fog haunts them from the alleyways. The fog seems to fade when interacted with, yet it has a peculiarly cold feel to it. They continue to the border city, the biggest Lurisian settlement in Orchian. They end up investigating in the next town and fight through a bunch of mind-controlled guards before finding a drow wizard, Lucius Falco. They chase him around, while he is flying, and end up subduing him. They taken him with them to Nuwel. In Nuwel, they find Zephin Steel (who also attended their wedding) and he directs Tulach to Joanna. Tulach speaks with her and finds out that she genuinely trusts the Wilderman and wants to work with him to a peaceful world. Tulach doesn't know how to take this but he heads off with Donaleustopher Aristopholestipheles XVII to the Green Highlands to share is new knowledge from the Fountain of Fossils with the Westward Fellowship.
