Queen Rhea Vandran is a high elf from the same land as the nobility of Lurisia. Like her sister Alice, she is the leader of a nation surrounding the Wilderness. Her nation is called Pluvia, and it lies to the east whereas Lurisia (her sister's nation) lies to the west.
Rhea is a regal and soft-spoken woman who wears rich white silk gowns and has shimmering blonde hair. She contrasts her sister in almost every way; decidedly not a schemer, promotes equality and assurance to the common-folk, demands justice for lawlessness and wrongdoing even among her own close friends, and values honesty and fairness as important principles of governance.
She remembers fondly how Jinx helped discover the truth about the alleged assassination attempt on her, conducted by the Merry Band. As it was the framing of the Sunday Knight which led to these claims, she ordered her executed but saw as she magically vanished as the executioner's blade fell.
She currently resides in the Third Garrison of the Howl, placed there as part of an agreement with Lurisia that they would work together to find and kill the Wilderman. Rhea took over the Garrison with her Pluvian banners and forced Tellig Tulach out, where he left peacefully to retire in his Getaway Village and get married.
Queen Rhea recently received a message from Captain Faith of the Pluvian Embassy of Gillamoor informing her of a Lurisian attack, and that a war has begun.
