Domecus is the god of power, regicide, trickery, knowledge and inversion.
They were originally known as the god of regicide, yet that is just one of their many tenets.
Domecus was no longer a deity fueled by the death of royalty. The Jointed Styx had molded him to fill their desires. The secrecy of their pursuits only dilating as their morality withered. Deities transform with fluctuations in their followers, but usually not to the extent that Domecus had. He went through a metamorphosis to accommodate the new form of faith that was offered to him.
If you have ever heard of the Jointed Styx, you are either a member of their secret society or dead. The Jointed Styx keep Domecus hidden within their secret society. They created a fake deity to conceal their organization; any church of Atarius from Lurisia to the crown lands is merely a front. Most of the people who attend these churches have no clue their god is an illusion. The Jointed Styx aren't inherently evil though, what they desire is underlying control, to leave all governments where they stand, take away their power, and leave them as figureheads.
The followers of Domecus, responsible for nearly every paradigm shift in the history of the realm, continue to influence the world using the false religions of Atarius and Corrus.
