Corrus is fervently worshipped by thousands of people who live in the nation of Zarkhin. It is believed there that Corrus can impart his vast wisdom and knowledge upon those who meditate on him. His followers believe that he created the world and everything in it, as if the world was hatched from an “egg” of unfathomable size. The major tenets of the religion of Corrus are:
- Sacrifice: For one to become a true follower of Corrus, they must give up their earthly possessions, since Corrus will provide for them everything they will truly need.
- Evangelism: To truly demonstrate that you are devoted to Corrus, one must travel the world and spread the teachings of Corrus to the common folk.
- Penitence: In order to hear the will of Corrus, one must remain humble and patient, always listening for his voice. This may involve hours of meditation.
However, the true origins of Corrus begin in the founding of Zarkhin. The followers of Domecus created the religion along with the religion of Atarius, and both served as fronts for Domecus followers to hide behind as they spread across the realm and consolidate power to eventually rule over all the realm.
