The party (Carl, Leos Whitewind, Elsa the Enigmatic, and Cayle Windwell) travel into the Green Highlands for varying reasons (save a boy, retrieve a recipe, find a brother, and find the missing Druid groves).
They defeated four guards (disfiguring the face of one, using smite to blow the arm off the second, sending another to the Nine Hells, and doing nothing of significance to the last) who stood between them and a tavern.
Inside the tavern the party found Elso the Enigmatic, Queen Alice Vandran, and a Mind Flare. As they soon discover, the Queen has been working with the Mind Flares to create an army of mind-controlled commoners to defeat Pluvia in a war.
The Queen teleports away with a crate while the Mind Flare battles the adventurers. After convincing Carl to attack his friends, the Mind Flare takes an “elevator” down into the Underdark with Elso being dragged behind.
The party spends an hour on deciding whether or not to sleep. They also search the rest of the town, finding four druidic children from the missing groves, some imprisoned commoners, Kurt the Silent and thousands of Esoteric Worms.
