topdown

    • the present model is almost totally designed with a top down principle

    • meaning a few at the top have created everything the way it is to benefit themselves

    • it's a selfish short-term sustainability approach that guarantees long-term failure

    • long-term sustainability success must incorporate a bottom up approach

    • meaning you think about the lowest common denominator participant

    • and design the model's systems to deliver this person a happy & full life

    • you build in incentives for some to work harder & get ahead of the average

    • but generally you design to take care of the vast majority of average people

    • so here's a very important truth about the world

    • it only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole barrel of apples

    • meaning it only takes one unhappy person to wreak havoc in the world

    • and today, we have millions of unhappy people doing just that

    • so many are doing what they feel they must do to change the model

    • and all, i believe, are doing so - in their own way - to try to create a better world

    • let me come right out & say it

    • the west's so-called democracy/capitalism model is not the best approach

    • it breaks all the rules for long-term sustainability

    • it focuses on the few at the top

    • and exploits pretty much everyone else below them

    • all i ask is that we all take a look at an opposite approach together

    • maybe life can be simpler & happier - healthier & more sustainable the other way
