selfperspective

    • human beings most often tend to focus from the self perspective lens

    • meaning we assess the event as it pertains to our own personal life

    • we use our beliefs, sense of reality, knowledge & experiences to evaluate

    • contrast this to putting yourself in another person's shoes

    • and evaluating from their life's vantage point

    • we all know that often what is good for me is bad for you

    • e.g. winning the lottery

    • lucky (good) for me & unlucky (bad) for you

    • but to that person who is not aware of the lotto or event

    • then neither good nor bad

    • bad once aware then the assess can be made

    • and the event can impact the life
