i love when we have plans for friends to visit us

not just for the fun & catching up

but also because it forces us to clean our home

and do all those little things we always put off

it's a lot of work having friends over

extra expense, more work & lost time

it's often awkward at times being hosts

and putting up with & waiting on others

getting them drinks & food

making sure they feel comfortable

i love when they leave too

love getting back to normalcy

love not doing all that extra work

love the solitude & quietness
