    • there's no bigger obstacle in the further development process than a person

    • the way our world works today only exaserbates this issue too

    • we are taught to fight vs. find consensus as a group

    • we tend to dig our heels in vs. open up our minds to other ways

    • we fight changing the story in our minds

    • so we often become obstacles in the process

    • we require time & effort to change our minds

    • to allow the new ideas & approaches to percolate

    • with this concerted effort though

    • we do often come around & often accept exploring the new path further

    • coming its pros & cons to the other paths of consideration

    • problem is we all do this on very different schedules

    • we all must do this within the constraints of other responsibilities of life

    • things come up all the time that prevent us from doing the required work

    • this problem only gets worse as more individuals join the team

    • now any one team member can become an obstacle at any time

    • and added all together the available time to interact together disappears

    • so my solution path has focused on creating a process

    • that mostly has everyone working on their own

    • but sharing ideas & option paths with everyone else on the team

    • people are far better at critiquing something than creating original ideas

    • it only takes one new idea of consideration to spark everyone else

    • the issue is we never know which team member will have the spark at a particular time

    • so i have found the old leadership hierarchy model does not work very well

    • different people take on the leader position at different times

    • and to keep things moving forward we should embrace this reality
