this project is about helping to improve the current in place political system
it's about shifting the power to improve governance
and moving the power more into the hands of the electorate
vs. the elected officials
it centers around adding just one new vote option
when electing persons into office
the concept is to fill the one position with two persons
one person from either side of the U.S. political aisle
one the the democrats side & one from the republicans side
force a compromise vote/decision at this point/place in the process
this vs. trying to get a compromise as a whole governance chamber of decision-making group
instead of forcing the electorate to make the best decision
by picking one from the many (often bad) candidate options
d+r=fc shifts all the burden onto the candidates running for the position/office
resulting in happier voters and more centres/moderate governance decision making
my hypothesis is
if we force together a republican candidate with a democratic candidate
into a single position
then what will result is far better than either alone
we force them into compromise at that single vote/decision-making point in the process
not perfect
but a good starting place for more effective change
