Types of Tech Pay (2021-2022)

Per Diem Tech Pay (6 hours)

Your first 6 hours of any type of tech pay are at the per diem rate. Did you know that only 17% of Skyline staff have access all 6 hours? We're literally leaving money on the table!!

Examples of Per Diem Pay:

1. Back to School Tech Day (August 20)

2. Skyline Ed Tech Conference

3. Kyte Learning

Remember this is basically the first 6 hours you submitted, so it's also in one of the categories down below!

How to Get Paid for Per Diem Tech Pay:

1. Check the Tech Pay Tracker to see how many per diem hours you have left

2. Download the Per Diem Comp Form (or pick up a paper copy in the office - it's pink)

3. Fill out the form, print it, and sign it

4. Send via district mail to "Admin/Ed Tech: Jodie Warren"

5. Deadline is August 31, 2022 (but don't forget!!!)

Face-to-Face Tech Pay (Unlimited hours - for now)

You are able to continue your tech learning with face-to-face hours for pay at the in-service rate. This year, this could be on Zoom/Teams but it's LIVE instruction, not self paced.

Examples of Per Diem Pay:

1. Skyline Ed Tech Conference

2. Other Buildings' Building Tech Series

3. District offered trainings

How to Get Paid for Face-to-Face Tech Pay:

1. Check the Tech Pay Tracker to make sure you used all your per diem hours

2. Download the In-Service Comp Form (or pick up a paper copy in the office - it's blue)

3. Fill out the form, print it, and sign it

4. Send via district mail to "Admin/Ed Tech: Jodie Warren"

5. Deadline is August 31, 2022

Online Learning Tech Pay (15 hours)

You can also choose to participate in the self-paced online learning options as long as they pertain to your position and occur outside the work day. In order to get paid for the training, you have to verify your attendance or completion verification from the course provider. The BNP went over all of the details HERE.

How to Get Paid for Online Learning Tech Pay:

1. Check the Tech Pay Tracker to determine if you're submitting for per diem, in service, or both

2. Secure your proof of completion (Kyte instructions here)

3. Download the appropriate form(s): Per Diem Comp Form or In-Service Comp Form

4. Fill out the form, print it, and sign it

5. Send via district mail to "Admin/Ed Tech: Jodie Warren"

6. Deadline is August 31, 2022
