Today we'll be talking about an under utilized Ed Tech Resource in our district: The Bits & Pieces Blog!
I'd like to give you a quick idea of the types of resources you can access on the BNP!
Tool Bits
Tool Bits are short, bite-size posts that detail how to use a tech tool. These won’t tell you all the ways you can use the tool, instead we focus on one feature or application of the tool. Our hope is that this will give insights into new ways to use these tools and also feel manageable in terms of implementation.
New Tools Podcast
In addition to a variety of supports and resources available on ISD tech, we also have a fortnightly podcast called The New Tools. It is a conversation about using technology in the classroom that is available through iTunes and Stitcher. Check it out while you drive go or go out for a run.
Classroom View
We’re trying something new here at Bits & Pieces. We’re out in classrooms all the time and want to highlight all the great work we are seeing. So each week we are choosing one photo from our travels and sharing it through something we are calling Classroom View. If you happen to snap a great photo that you think is worth sharing, please don’t hesitate to email your Tech TOSA and we’ll take a look.
