Today we'll be talking about a Seattle gem: The Living Computers Museum! (It's located just south of the stadiums)
Did you know that teachers in the Pacific Northwest (that's us!) can receive a free membership to the museum! Here's information on how to get the free membership.
Why would you want to visit the LCM? Great question! I'm so glad you asked. Here's a quick preview of what they have on exhibit right now!
Step into the life of a teenager in the 1980s. You can revisit technology in schools, the arcade, and home! It's a fully immersive experience, so come hang out!
Take a test-drive in the self-driving car simulator, featuring a full-size 3D-printed car, and see for yourself how autonomous vehicles may transform our urban centers and make transportation networks more efficient.
And that's just a few! The LCM has so many cool exhibits to check out! Here's a list of their current offerings including robotics, smart technology, minicomputers, and more!
If you want to learn more about technology in the classroom, consider joining our Ed Tech Conference!
