Concurrent Learning Pay Information

This year, we were offered the rare opportunity to get paid during the school day for tech training and planning! You are eligible for up to 7 hours of pay and there were two pathways to earning that pay:

Concurrent Learning Planning (Wednesday mornings from 8:00 - 9:30am)

This can be access on any Wednesday after April 21 except for the days of our staff meetings (May 12 or June 2)

1. Seek assistance with instructional technology (meet with Seth or me)

2. Seek content specific input regarding concurrent learning (meet with your content TOSA)

3. Plan concurrent learning in content teams

4. Attend or access a training such as the Next Steps with Canvas Course

How to Get Paid for Wednesday Mornings:

1. Check the Tech Pay Tracker to determine if you're submitting for per diem, in service, or both

2. Download the appropriate form(s):

   1. Per Diem Comp Form

   2. In-Service Comp Form

3. For the course name put "Concurrent Teaching - Preparation/Planning; per 6-12 MOU"

4. Fill in the number of total hours accessed (up to 7hrs)

5. Room and building can be "Remote"

6. Time is 8:00am - 9:30am

7. Fill in the dates and amount of time accessed. You can list multiple dates in the same form

8. Print it, sign it, and send via district mail to "Admin/Ed Tech: Jodie Warren"

9. Deadline for submission in June 30, 2021 and all 7 hours must be submitted together

Concurrent Tech Training (Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 - 4:00pm)

This can be access on any Wednesday after April 21 and before the end of the school year

1. SHS Concurrent Learning Series

   • May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2

   • 1:30 - 2:30

2. Next Steps with Canvas Course

How to Get Paid for Wednesday Mornings:

4. Fill in the number of total hours accessed (up to 7hrs)

5. Room and building can be "Remote"

6. Time would be between 1:00-4:00pm

7. Fill in the dates and amount of time accessed. You can list multiple dates in the same form.

8. Print it, sign it, and send via district mail to "Admin/Ed Tech: Jodie Warren"

9. Deadline for submission in June 30, 2021 and all 7 hours must be submitted together
