Do you have a diverse learners in your class and wonder how you can more effectively and efficiently meet everyone’s needs? If this sounds like your classroom and you are a content teacher in middle school or high school, please consider applying for this 4-Day GLAD/ELL Training.
Teachers who attend this class will learn practical, grade-level appropriate GLAD instructional strategies for the whole class. The strategies will benefit all learners and can be easily differentiated.
The High School GLAD/ELL training will take place over four days (subs will be provided and paid for by the district) on October 25th, November 1st, April 30th, and May 6th. Participants must commit to all four dates.

All participants will be approved by their principals. If you cannot attend this training, remember that you always have access to GLAD support through your Skyline GLAD Building Leader, Joelle Nelson, and the ISD Secondary GLAD specialist, Tricia Cecil. We can help you create materials or lesson plans to support your students, problem solve with you, discuss ways to more effectively reach all students, etc. We are here to help.
