While we are much more proficient at this distance learning than we were in September, things come up and there is always more to learn. Don’t forget, you have several resources out there.
Bits and Pieces: An online site where you can get old and new information about the tech we use in our district. Many of the posts are the result of commonly asked questions by others in the ISD.
Building Tech Series: A place for you to push your thinking about how to teach and engage students with technology. These are monthly and you can not only learn alongside your school’s colleagues, but you can even virtually attend other BTS’ around the district. Here is a link to a schedule of upcoming BTS’.
Secondary Help Desk: Drop in help is available every Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 and Friday from 3:00 to 4:00. You can also join the Secondary Teacher Help Desk Microsoft Team to be kept up to date for other drop-in sessions.
Ed Tech Specialist TOSA: You always have access to Seth Adams, our building’s district Ed Tech Specialist. He can help with an array of things ranging from how to get some app or tech to work to conceptualizing ways students can have choice to show proficiency on something learned in class. Just reach out via email to set up a time to meet or use this link to schedule a time that works for you.
