How do they do lettering on consumer products?

This thought comes to mind for a series of explorations.

Here, though, we're sticking with BOOK COVER and JIGSAW haiga. . . .

Each language has its own musicality and sub-text available. In English language haiku, for example, free form, in a brevity that 'feels' light and succinct, is the way to go. Simplicity being the key. Overloading and/or restricting any haikai form with redundant explanation and superflous poetic bling gets in the way of the haiku experience's delivery in the form of a small mental-movie ('ma-space' does Noh theatre). This holds for haikai generally, and, for our purposes here, haiga.

Whatever the image used for a haiga is intended for it will always be conditioned by the haiga's words and vice versa. Often enough the actual meaning and impression of a haiga is not what was intended by its originator. STOP MAKING SENSE. This is one way of letting the unconscious mediate the living moment, with our conscious mind on the back burner, whilst doing haikai ritual art (or anything, really). Akin to brainstorming and mind mapping, at a stretch or pinch. A method worth experimenting with and which blends into oracle.
