Coyote

One winter's evening Coyote was out taking the Arizona air beneath a twinkling sky-full of everlasting Painted Desert stars. He was deep in thought regarding an important meeting with a Hopi indian sorcerer who had cast a deadly spell upon Coyote's heretical ass and so Coyote did not notice that he was fast approaching the edge of a deep dry gulch, way out there in the North Arizona badlands. Just before Coyote was about to fall over the edge of the dried-up riverbed and break his scraggy coyote neck, a voice out of nowhere said: "Coyote, you are about to break your scraggy coyote neck if you do not change direction, and quickfast." Coyote (of course) ignored this mysterious warning owing to the fact that he was so deep in thought about this death curse which had been cast by a Hopi indian sorcerer, whom the bold Coyote had annoyed. But it did interrupt his natural radar. . . .as hell's doors opens
