The accompt of Mary Cromleholme [ ??] Widow and the relict and adminstrator of the goods of Samuel Cromleholme [67] late of the parish of saint faiths the Virgin in London (while he lived Master of the free schoole of Saint Paul London) deceased in July one thousand six hundred seventy and two as well of all and singular the goods and chattels and creditts of the said deceased which has come to her hands and possession as adminstrator of the goods of the said deceased as of all payments and disbursements which she as adminstrator of the goods of the said deceased hath pay'd and disbursed and stands charges with follow viz
The Charge
Imprimis The accomptant chargeth herselfe with all and singular
the goods and chattels and Creditts of the said deceased specified in an
Inventory thereof made and hereto annexed and composed under
the summe totall thereof amounting £ xlix viiij xd ??

law of the deceased and for one Elisha Chew a boy who was the kinsman

Item This accomptant desirath that the said Samuel Cromleholme did while he lived in his lifetime keep in his
house one Elisha Chew his kinsman being a youth about thirteen yeras of age who he sent for to come unto him out
of Lancashire, and did declare in his lifetime that he would plan him Out in the world to some .... ?, and that he dying
before he did the same this accomptant finish his wish ? did plan him out which cost her fifteen pounds £ xv

Item This accomptant declarath that William Cromleholme [ ?? ] the
brother of the said deceased since the death of the said Samuel Cromleholme
deceased hath had and received of this accomptant out of the goods and personal
estate of the said deceased the summe of twenty pounds in money and in plate to
the value of seven ? pounds which is parte of the deceased plate men.....? in the
inventory hereunto annexed and also for much of the deceased apparrell (which
is valued in the inventory hereunto annexed to Fifteen pounds) as amounts to form ... ?
in all thirty seven pounds which she prayeth ? may be allowed out of that parte and
proportion which he is to have by right of distribution out of the goods and estate

[1] Heriot - a feudal due paid to the Lord of the manor upon a tenant's death. Mary Cromleholme's accounts notes Lord Stourton later. It appears that Samuel & his wife leased a property in Somerset where Mary moved after her husband's death.
