Below this signature is the proof of probate which is very difficult to read except for the fact that it is dated September 1689.
This will names Richard's wife as Elizabeth.
Richard was born 30th March 1625 and he died 2nd September 1689 at age 64 years.
Sherburne C (bap 2/9/1657) is noted as the oldest son. He was married three times and is the father of Rev Richard C (of St Michaels on Wyre).
Richard C the second son born ?? but died intestate 1690 (Will ref NR 18) brother William named as his executor.
William C (of nearby Fairsnape Bleasdale) the third son (the will notes them in this order)
b = ?; married Margaret (Parkinson d/o John P of Fairsnape) prior to 1694. He died in 1729 will ref NR16. They had 2 sons and 2 daughters. My line descends from his eldest son another Richard b c 1694.
Ellin C was under 21 years of age in 1683 so must have been born in C 1663 at the earliest. Nothing more known about her at present.
