1767 - Ellen Crombleholme [Cro0838] buried in Melling (Source ) Note : inquistion of transferring Dunsop property to her son John Crombleholme [Cro0260] - but other records suggest that she held properties in common with her husband John Crombleholme [Cro0837] who is thought to have died in 1788 ?

Richard - I am documenting the headstones in our village churchyard and have found one with a very damaged inscription that in 1976 is claimed to have said Crumbleholle with all other details unreadable. Since your family history page says your family came from Bowland and we are only a stones throw away I wonder if this is one of yours ?
