Several references have been found to this name which appears to be only a place name near Bradford in Yorkshire. It appears very unlikely that this is related to any of the Crombleholme families.

Note : A footnote adds that John Lacy was the son of Alice Townley - who could be Alice Crombleholme [Cro0014] who married John Townley in c1565 in Dutton, Lancashire.
1589 - John Lacy of Brearley was deforciant in a fine of the manor of Over Cromwelbothome (alias Old Cromwellbothome) and three messuages with lands in the same and in southowram Elland and Midgley (Source : The family of Lacy Thereby Soc Leeds pub 1891 Vol 28 part 4 p 470- Yorks Fines Tudor iv, 131 )
Note - this publication also adds (p469) ....that the hamlet of Cromwellbottom lies in the valley of the Calder to the north of the river and in the southern portion of the township of Southowram.
