Kidlington Results

Another excellent Kidlington Congress was enjoyed by all participants over the weekend of 5/6 February. Twelve Cowley members competed with some success. Particular congratulations go to Ruby Marsden who came joint first in the Under 145 Division with 4 wins out of 4 games played plus a bye draw in the first round. Marcus Harvey from Bicester won the U225 Division with 5 wins out of 5 and Ruby was the only other player over the weekend to win all games played. Bill Stanley won a share of the Veteran’s prize in the same Division and avoided losing any games for the second year running. Congratulations also to Rod Nixon who took joint 3^rd place in the Under 225 Division.

Finally, many thanks once again to all those who organise the Tournament so well including, of course, Gerard O’Reilly, Tim Dickinson and Priscilla Morris.
