Tournament wins for Cowley players

The last two weekends have seen some striking individual tournament successes by Cowley members.

In the Major section (Under-2000 Elo) of the 16th 4NCL Fide-rated Congress on 3-5 November, Nick Burrows of Cowley 2 scored an outright win with 4.5/5.

And at the Torbay Congress this weekend, our new member and captain of Cowley 5, Kelly Riley, finished first equal in the Intermediate section (Under-140 ECF) with 4.5/5.

Congratulations to them both!
