The horsemen go to Church. We get there a little late and its already standing room only. I occlude us so we don't draw any attention. The mass goes on as normal. Danno checks out those who have been resurrected and they don't seem right. They seem to be a little broken, almost as their souls were patched together with bits of Idigam. Nothing extraordinary happens and we get the impression that maybe Gamugur only shows up when someone is dead. As we are walking out Danno has a death only talk with one of the broken ones. It tells him it wants to be out of its misery, it knows it doesn't belong here like this, so Danno grants his request and he drops dead, again. I listen in on the priest's thoughts as they attend to the newly re-deceased. They are going to hold a wake for him at next mass and call the angel to come back and revive him. Thats the response we were looking for and we plan on coming back next week.
We return to Ahava and Taranis and I enter the Astral. We are going to try to visit the concepts of the other Idigam and hopefully garner clues on how to bring them out of hiding. The realms of the last three are much like Gamugur's, floating twisting images and thoughts. For Mussughana , the ravenous swarm, we see image of various swarms, locusts eating crops, rats eating something. Some people believe it is the earth mother punishing us for destroying her resources. Others think its a doomsday scenario all the way to Government conspiracies of nanobots gone awry. The realm of the breeder, Uda Lahal, is even stranger. This one depicts an army of ghost children. The unholy offspring of two Uratha. Perhaps even a Pure totem that is encouraging such sins. The realm of Zulsunak, the nemesis, is pure anger. He hates all of Father Wolf's children with a passion. We do actually see an image of this nightmarish blob talking to an Uratha. We even see an image of a Forsaken speaking with a Pure. Talks of a truce.
We return to reality and decide to talk to the shaman about what we have seen with the last two Idigam. We have a lot to think about but nothing concrete to go on. Rather than continue to run our in circles I suggest we take a break and hit the casks of bourbon we have in the barn. In true horsemen style this turns into a barbecue. And what I can only hope will be a tradition in Ahava, this turns into a full fledged barn party. I bring in some cattle from Argentina. I have Oopy bring some of the special crop he has been working on up in the hydroponics bay and everybody is invited and we get fucked up.
At some point and under the influence of some substance I suggest that maybe we can put out the word in the shadow that we are trying to negotiate a truce between the Forsaken and the Pure, this might draw Zulsunak out. Somehow this turns into a plan on actually having a truce. The general consensus is that it is so crazy it might just work. The shaman and Kat seem ok with it so we decide to give it a go. Red takes off into the shadow to get the word out that we want to talk with some pure leaders. This plan is making my head hurt, time to retire to the hot tub.
