The plan was to head back to Detroit for some more shadow ops but that was interrupted by a call from the Kat phone. Not a regular phone call but a request for help through our amulets. I immediately scryed her, she didn't seem to be in any direct harm and was alone except for a fairly still form in her arms. I willed myself to her location and saw the figure she was holding was Jericho and he did not look good. Kat herself was fine much to my relief but Jericho had that oh so familiar look in his eyes. He needed to feed and now. As much as I respect Jericho I still have this thing with keeping my blood inside my body. I was almost going to run over the nearby highway and coerce a sleeper to donate for me but then I remembered where I could find a flask with blood and hell distance was only an illusion. I willed myself back to the warehouse and found Danno. I told him I needed some of his blood. This brought a smile to his face before I realized I should have finished that sentence. I told him I needed his flask for Jericho, he was on the outskirts of town and he was badly hurt. Danno gave me the flask without question and I willed myself back to Kat and Jericho. Jericho took only what he needed and I forgot to tell him that it was werewolf blood. Jericho was a master of keeping his emotions in check so he was able to handle any angry feelings. While I was casting the portal to bring Jericho back to the palace he told me of what happened. He had a vision he was supposed to go to some church in England. He didn't know exactly what for but he trusted his visions and always acted on them. In England he ran into Samiel. Samiel had found some artifact called the Spear of Longinuss. Jericho had beaten Samiel pretty good and had a chance to run him through but hesitated at the last second as his heart told him Samiel still had a part to play in all this. Instead he managed to grab a hold of Samiel and get dragged through his portal and thats how he managed to end up in the outskirts of Chicago. I portaled us back to the palace and told the others to meet us there. As soon as I relayed the story to the rest and did some quick research on this spear we went straight to the Lady Abigail.

The Lady Abigail of course was familiar with the spear, she was the one that broke it. One half ended up in Arcadia in the hands of Lord Oberon and the other half was in the shadow realm. Apparently this was the very same spear that killed christ while he was on the cross way back when. It supposedly had the power to kill anything. Lylith was not liking the sound of this, she was now very concerned for the Lady Abigail. And the Lady Abigail was concerned for her. We find out Lylyith has another very important purpose, she is here to guard something in the palace. I won't mention what in plain text. We had no concrete idea as to what Samiel wanted with this weapon but then again we didn't much about his actual motives. We needed to know more about this cheese raping mad fae. We figured if there was one person who did know about him it would be Dante and so we payed him a visit.

Dante always seemed to be expecting you when you showed up, it was a little creepy. He motioned for us to come up to his private table. We knew that this would cost us so we tried to keep our inquiry down to one question. We asked him who Samiel was working for. He told us that Janus was the son of Lord Oberon. What little we knew of the Fae suggested they didn't actually have offspring they preferred to steal children instead. Janus had been sent to do something about Donovan. Lord Oberon was concerned that Donovan was going to mess up the world and that would cut off his supply of children to kidnap and torture. I was almost moved by his concern for the welfare of the sleeper kids. Dante pointed out that Samiel no longer had ties to his Lord because Janus had actually died. Stephen no longer was bound to Donovan because he had also died. So now it appears that Samiel is either working for himself or perhaps someone else. While it was nice to learn some more about Samiel, it really didn't help us figure out his motives. In the midst of the conversation Danno had let slip some things about the four that Dante of course picked up on and he took as his payment for the information he gave us. As much as I tried to convince Dante he misunderstood what Danno was talking about it wasn't going to help. Dante was too good at his job. I dared not use other means of convincing Dante, he is an old and powerful vampire and to do something like that in his Elysium would get us killed. At least Dante wasn't going to just gossip the information around, someone would have to pay for it and we figured right now the potential market for it was low. Dante also mentioned that Samiel was actually here earlier and was looking for us. We still needed to know what his intentions were with that spear so we figured we would drive back to the warehouse then walk to the bar, he knows that route so hopefully he would find us.

We made it to the bar without seeing Samiel. Just as we were getting comfy I got the signal that their was an intruder at the warehouse. I tapped into our security cameras and found Samiel standing on our roof. I told the others to meet me there and I willed myself to the roof. I started asking him what the hell he was up to. Basically he wanted to use the spear to kill Donovan. He knew where Donovan was hanging out and wanted our help to get in and kill him. He figured Donovan won't be suspecting such an attack. He said Donovan was hiding at Fort Meade and tapping into the network there to help find the sleeper he was looking for. Samiel figured since I was stationed there I would know the layout and that we could attack from the shadow. Samiel said that spirit was Donovan's weakest arcanum and he wouldn't be suspecting an assault from the shadow. I of course said I don't trust him. He said he would give us a piece of information no others knew as a sign of good faith. So he stabbed Danno with the spear. Apparently it can kill anything, except a horseman. That really didn't make me feel any better. He could still stab me with any other number of pointy things. All though he appears to have come to terms with both the things in his head, Stephen is still in there and he still really wants to kill me. We told him we would need to talk this over with the others and he agreed to meet back here in three days time and we would have our answer.

This was a night with a roller coaster of emotions. I wasn't quite prepared to get the "I need your help" message via the amulet. That was one of those your heart jumps into your throat kinda moments. In hindsight teleporting into the unknown without a word to anyone and with just a few seconds glance through a scrying window probably isn't the smartest idea. But I figure it isn't worth the effort to argue over because hell knows I'll do it again. That fear was followed by relief but then panic quickly reared it's ugly head. My first thought on seeing Jericho dying like that was, Oh God I'm going to have to let him feed on me. Getting around that by feeding a sleeper to him wasn't the nicest idea either. Luckily reason kicked in and I remembered about Danno's flask and how teleporting only take a few seconds. And it was one hell of a relief to know that Kat didn't let him feed off her. Jericho and her go way back and I'm touched that she put my needs over his. I don't even want to think about the creepiness that would ensue every time I touched her. But no need to worry about that. If she wouldn't let Jericho feed off her she definitely wouldn't let anyone else.

Now we have to deal with fucking Samiel. I would really just like to kill him and be done with the madness, all though seeing how he fucked up Jericho indicates that won't be so easy. I simply do not trust Samiel, or Janus or Stephen. I am extremely wary of trudging into Donovan's house with him. Even if we could pull this off there is nothing stopping him from turning on us after we help him. Every time I look at him I can see the hunger in his eyes coming from Stephen. Stephen wants nothing more in this world then to rip my throat out right now. And it's only a matter of time before he tries.
