We head out to the first temple. Taranis begins to channel mana to open the door but it opens before he starts the transfer. He heres a voice indicating the way is open for those who possess the swords. Well thats convenient, that will save us a lot of mana.

We make our way to where each guardian was. Most of the traps are disabled or already triggered so it doesn't take long to get around. Lylith does her trick and is able to absorb the latent energies. After the first temple she is feeling a bit bloated so we head back to Ahava and she releases the stored up energy into the appropriate spire. We rinse and repeat for the next two temples. With Lylith being a walking Demense, teleporting around the world is easy and painless. After the 3rd temple she is feeling a bit famish so we call it a day and Hector and her go off to hunt some cows for dinner.

Next day we hit the 4th temple. The contruct of magic was still there. We offered to try to take it out of here to Ahava where it could be of better use. It says it has been bound here for millennia and would remain so. It offers to allow Lylith to consume all its power and she does so. After a quick jaunt to the last temple we return to Ahava.

With Lylith's help the nexus is now at 50% power. Not as much as we hoped with everything we have given to it but we were certainly a lot father ahead then we were before.

With the nexus taken care of time to turn back to other issues. I look back over the various parcels of information we had received over the past week weeks. It comes to my attention that the Herald Bowen is missing. I had assumed he went with Alchmideas to Detroit but they had not seen or heard from him. I immediately opened a scrying window and was relieved to see that he was still alive. He was in some basement surrounded by antique electronics. I teleport Taranis any myself to him. That of course nearly gave the older mage a heart attack but he calmed down when he saw it was us. He explained that he noticed that a few of the main communication satellites are missing. He was using his HAM radio to setup an old school comm network to keep everybody in touch. That could come in handy. We tell him he isn't safe here but we have the perfect place for him to take his radios and expand his operation. I open a portal to Ahava and we move all his equipment to it's new home.

Thing are really starting to come together. Of course this could all be for nothing if the Horsemen don't succeed at their final test, but at least it is giving everybody something to do. Keeps their minds off the impending doom.
