Time to head to Vegas for the big peace summit. The usual crew arrives first in our dramatic fashion, which of course startles a few of the Pure. I apologize with a grin and open a portal back to Ahava so that the rest of the Forsaken and a few mages can come through. Danno makes it clear that there will be no fighting or they will answer to death. We make it clear that the Horsemen are here as mediators only. We will not get involved outside of keeping the peace. Kat and Jelik start the discussion with Forsaken and Pure yelling at each other in the background. All in all it was pretty civilized. The rest of us kept an eye out for Zulsunak. I begin to notice some of the more outspoken Pure seem a little off. Closer scrutiny reveals they are being manipulated. Zulsunak is here somewhere and trying to start a fight. I use my abilities to calm them down but soon I notice that for everyone I calm down Zulsunak moves to another. I erect a ward around the room and place a ban against mental manipulation. Hopefully that will piss Zulsunak off and he will show himself since his subtle means won't work anymore. Jelik indicates he want to speak privately so we hold a telepathic conversation. He thinks the only way to get Zulsunak to show is to start fighting so we give it a try. Taranis gets everybody's adrenalin going and I begin influencing their emotional state. It doesn't take long before the fur starts to fly. As soon as the fight starts to reach a pitch it begins to just feel wrong. This is what Zulsunak really wants, it goes against everything we were trying to accomplish. Taranis feels the same and removes everyones adrenalin rush and I unleash my aura and command everyone to stop this madness. The conflicting emotions kinda have everyone stunned and then it gets a little stormy inside. Soon this thing materializes and attacks us. Hard to describe what it looks like but we can tell it is definitely Zulsunak.
The battle begins to go well. Most of the Forsaken and the Pure are still a bit stunned by the presence of an Idigam but the shamans get together and begin summoning something. We are dealing a considerable amount of damage to the Idigam but soon he begins to ignore some of it, as though he is adapting to our attacks. We try to start mixing it up but our melee line is kinda limited in their method of attacks. I try every trick I have in my book and they appear to be working and whittling him down but they don't have the raw amount of power needed. I do manage to collide the Idigam with the floor which he doesn't like. I create several of me in the shadow and attack from there which he doesn't expect and they deal some decent damage. Kat likes this idea and launches her own multiple images that stick the unsuspecting Idigiam. Zulsunak constantly shifts his form and changes his attacks in relation to ours. The stench of the Abyss was starting to get high as all of my tricks were extremely vulgar so I decided to do something I never do. I shot him with a gun. I used Danno's Walther hoping it would do it's additional damage against this thing. Luckily with the aid of Time on my side I was able to get off a couple good shots and they indeed gave off that spark of light as they hit the thing. Zulsunak didn't like that and reached out to a couple Pure and callously ripped their souls out and turned them into his zombies to harass me. The shamans used the storm and flung coordinated bolt of lightning at Zulsunak who just deflected them towards his Pure zombies who took the damage for him. Danno tried his die trick but Zulsunak also deflected that and instead one of the Pure zombies died. Even though most of Hector's damage was being absorbed, the artifact that Lylith reshaped for him was still draining Zulsunak's power and eventually Zulsunak could take no more and fell. As his form began to fade he just looked at us and said "Thank You".
Luckily we only had one dead. The other two Pure who were without souls were beginning to fade but I grabbed the coffee urn from the buffet table and dumped it out and quickly fashioned it into a container to hold their souls. Since the souls were trapped I would now have the time to reattach them. Since the souls were only recently departed it only took a half hour to reattach them and the two Pure were whole again and themselves. After the wounds were taken care of and the initial stun wearing off all the Uratha began to howl in triumph. Forsaken and Pure together had helped to vanquish one of their most powerful and common enemy. Even Taranis joined in with his own triumph shout and speech.

We figured since we were already here we would invite the Pure to join us in a victory drink. Most went begrudgingly and weren't very good drinking partners but that was to be expected. This was only the first step in a very long process, but it was a good step.
