Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • Extra Large Strawberries

    • 6 Strawberries per customer

  • 2 Cups (12-oz package) Netsle Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels

  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable shortening

  • wax paper

  • Covers about 20 Extra Large Strawberries

Directions:

  • Wash strawberries the day before, refrigerate and let dry

    • Leave stems and leaves on

  • Mix morsels and vegetable shortening in a microwave safe glass bowl

    • Place in microwave at 70% power for 1 minute

    • Stir

    • Microwave at 70% power for 40 seconds

    • Stir

    • Microwave at 70% power for 30 seconds

  • Dip strawberries 3/4 from tip to top (the top of the strawberry by the leaves should not be covered)

    • Place on wax paper

  • Refrigerate until ready to deliver
