Best Echo Commands

These are my favorite or most used Amazon Echo or Alexa commands

• Alexa, Goodnight

  • Turns off all the lights and fans, locks the door and closes the garage door

• Alexa, Drop In to <room>

  • Allows talking between two rooms

• Alexa, Call <name>

  • Calls someone in my AT&T phone book. Instructions are here.

• At sunrise and sunset, automatically turn lights on or off

• Alexa, turn on/off the TV

• Alexa, set the upstairs temperature

• Alexa, what is the temperature/weather outside
