Pandora is de fictieve planeet in de film Avatar (zie Avator-wiki voor meer info). Op deze planeet leeft een volk (de Na'vi) in perfecte symbiose met hun omgeving. De Na'vi kennen geen kwaad en vertrouwen elkaar volledig. De mens maakt misbruik van deze eigenschappen door vermomd als Avatar te infiltreren.
Op Pandora staat een boom (the Tree of Souls) die als een soort biologisch netwerk.
De Na'vi hebben

In the film, the tree is seen to be capable of transferring a specific consciousness from one body to another
