3 Principles of Diverse Wholes

1] The first principle of a Diverse Whole is that of differentiation.

Differentiation is simply the generation of difference. This results in individuality and diversity and creativity. And it generates a milieu of elements that are disconnected. Differentiation creates the richness of the world.

2] The second principle is that of Undifferentiation, this is the opposite of differentiation. This process produces similarity, commonality, unity, models and so on. This force tries to unite the richness created by differentiation.

3] When differentiation and undifferentiation meet, a whole results. But this whole is not a conventional whole of hierarchical and control. This whole is diverse. It contains within it all the features of differentiation, all of its individuality, creativity and parts.

This Diverse Whole is driven by the force of differentiation, it is in motion, it has contradiction, it has diversity, it evolves and leaps to new stages. It is more complex than a conventional whole which is easier to manage but on the other hand it does not reflect the reality of the world. It thus uses harsh measure to keep control, it suppresses all differentiation.

The new whole stresses communication and agreement. The process takes longer but the results are superior.

The Diverse Whole seeks only a few themes to unite the disparate parts and individuals, this is to retain diversity and freedom. The Diverse Whole is flexible. Also, it is highly creative reflecting not only the creativity of free individuals but also the creativity of those trying coordinate the whole and keep up with constant evolution.
