SYMPHONIC BAND AFTER SCHOOL on Mondays

Monday after-school rehearsals resume this week. As always, please let Mr. Carter know if you cannot attend.

LAST CHANCE: HELP PICK THE 2026 HALFTIME SHOW!

We will select next year's show from the Chris Creswell Music & Design catalog. We typically play a "Medium Easy" show. You can check them out here: https://www.ccmusicdesign.com/marching-music-catalog/?music_grade=medium-easy

If you really like a show idea, you should:

Tell your friends and try to get them to support it, too.
Send it in, and get your friends to send it in, too. The more people who send in an idea, the more likely it is to make it to the final round.

All show ideas must be submitted by TUESDAY, MARCH 31.

GUARD AUDITIONS

Color Guard Auditions begin right after Spring Break! Auditions begin with a 3-day workshop on April 14, 15, and 16 (3:30- 5:30 p.m.), followed by auditions on Friday, April 17 (3:30 - approximately 6 p.m.).

Any student interested in auditioning should pick up an audition packet in the front office.

May 5: SCGMB26 Spring Training, Day 1
May 5: Awards Night, 7pm in the Auditorium
May 7: SCMS Band Spring Concert
May 11: SCGMB26 Percussion Auditions
May 12: SCGMB26 Spring Training, Day 2
May 15: GRADUATION (all Symphonic Band members are expected to perform)
